Hello writers! Welcome to the writtenbyemiley blog.
I am so beyond excited about this blog. It has been in the back of my mind for months and I finally decided it was time to make a dream into reality.
For those who are new here, my name is Emiley. I am currently in my junior year of high school and more than anything I love to write. Currently, I post on instagram (@writtenbyemiley) sharing my writing journey, giving motivation to others, and making amazing friends. I love my Instagram to death, but I have been wanting to do something a little more personal so that is how we got here.
From this blog here is what to expect:
-I am planning to post at least once a week (maybe more if I have the time and motivation)
-I will be sharing my writing progress and milestones
-I will be sharing advice on how you improve your own writing
-I will be very transparent and tell you straight up if I did absolutely nothing the entire week
-I will write about my opinions and thoughts on relevant topics in the writing world
I think you get the point now :) I want this to be a safe space for all writers to come to once a week (or more) to unwind and feel heard and seen. You are not alone throughout this beautiful writing journey!! Please feel free to leave comments (questions too!) on all of my posts—they are my favorite. On this blog zero feel free to leave blog post ideas you want to see from me.

Love this! I would like to know how you come up with story ideas! Does it come organically, or do you sit down (or stand) to intentionally come up with ideas? Is it a mix of both?
Also, I absolutely love this blog! It’s like an escape into a new world!
